eCOGRAの認定というと、マイクロゲーミング系のオンラインカジノやポーカールームがメインで、その他の系統としてはカジノオンネットや一部のポーカールームしかありませんでしたが、それらとはまた別系統のパーティゲーミングが加わったことはちょっとしたニュースです。特にパーティポーカーは世界的に有名なのでeCOGRAに与える影響も大きそうです。
しかし、この認定の裏側にはいくつかの問題も残っています。パーティゲーミングはすでに確立されたブランドなので認定を受けるに値するのかもしれませんが、傘下の子会社で運営しているプレイテック系カジノでは不払いやサービスの低さが問題となっており、著名なポータルサイトがこの件について警告を発しています。
